Fractional treatment with CO2 laser
Fractional CO2 laser treatment can reduce wrinkles and lines on the face. In many cases, results can be seen after the first treatment.
Fractional CO2 laser is currently the best method for skin improvement. The treatment renews the skin's top layer of skin (the stratum corneum) and tightens the connective tissue. The aging process is slowed down and leads to a clear improvement in the skin's appearance. The treatment helps the skin with collagen production, which provides elasticity, firmness and moisture.
Smoother skin and a reduction in fine lines make the skin appear fresh and healthy. The skin feels smooth, soft and firmer.
Preparation before treatment:
-Clients who want a fractional CO2 laser treatment should stay out of the sun or solarium for 4 weeks before treatment. Clients must also not have cold sores, acne breakouts or have undergone any other facial treatment, such as peels or injections. All makeup must be removed from the entire face the day before treatment. 1-2 hours before treatment, you will be given a numbing cream to make the treatment as comfortable as possible.
The treatment method involves using a CO2 laser with a scanner that draws a special pattern, which leaves about 70% of the skin untouched. New elastic fibers are built up and collagen is stimulated.
Who cannot be treated:
-Customers who are prone to forming large scars (hypertrophic scars) or are prone to pigment changes. Serious heart disease, impaired immune system, serious mental illness or other serious illness. Customers who have used the medication Roaccutan or similar for acne must not be treated with CO2 laser for one year.
Customers should be aware of this:
A few days after treatment, many people feel that their skin is itchy. Do not scratch. This is completely normal and is due to the release of histamines in the skin. The itching is sometimes worst at night and can be prevented by not having a bedroom that is too warm.
Skin infections may occur after treatment. Signs of infection include redness, tenderness, swelling of the skin and possibly fever. There is often a delay in the healing process. It is important that you contact the clinic if any of these symptoms occur so that you can receive the right treatment. The risk of infection is greatest in the first few days.
If you have a dark skin type or tan easily in the summer, there is an increased risk of developing pigment spots on the treated areas. The new skin is more susceptible to the sun and therefore becomes browner. Pigment spots can be avoided by refraining from sunbathing for the first 2 to 3 months after treatment. These pigment spots disappear on their own.
Acne flare-ups can occur in those being treated for acne scars. In rare cases, it is necessary to treat the acne with antibiotics or Roaccutane etc. This will not result in renewed scarring.
The clinic offers free skin care in the first few days after treatment.
This is to make the healing time as short as possible and to achieve the best possible result.
Quality and service are important to us and we want to give all our patients the best possible experience regarding treatment.
